Frequently Asked Questions

A quick video answering some of the questions we get most often.

  1. Are you Vehicle Specific?

No! Minimum requirements are a reliable 4WD vehicle with good clearance.

  2. Do I need prior off road experience?

No! Beginners are welcome and encouraged. We love teaching and challenging folks out on the trails. Valid Drivers License is required.

  3. Are You Family Friendly?

Yes! We have a family and love bring our kids and our Spouse along.

  4. Are passengers extra?

No. The cost of our events is per rig, not per person. We do this to allow the cost to be spread out among friends.

  5. Do I have to have camping gear to come?

Most of out trips are “base camp” style. This means we stay in one location and go out daily. This allows folks to stay where they want to. People can camp or stay in a hotel in the area.

  6. I’m a generally grumpy, rigid, and an unpleasant person. Can I attend your event?

No, please stay home and let your family and friends enjoy you. Flexibility and a good attitude are vital to successful trips. A poor attitude can quickly bring down the whole group. We work hard to make sure everyone gets to experience the awesome places and community we strive to create. If your not down with that, please stay home.

  7. I’m God’s gift to Off-Roading can I come and show everyone how its done?

We are so happy for you! However, please share your gift somewhere else. Our trips are for those who are eager to learn and build community. If you feel like you have the best rig and the most knowledge out there, and have a strong compulsion to let everyone know that, then please share those gifts elsewhere.

  8. What is the value in doing a trip like this?

Glad you asked, Our value is found in the small group size, hands on learning and community that we foster. When you come out with us you can expect to be challenged, to make friends, and to learn a ton in a short time. We have seen people make new friendships and gain confidence in their rig and abilities while out on the trail. Many of those that attend one of our events come back for more! Lastly, we film, edit and produce a video after each trip so that you have a lasting memory of your time with us.
